PV GAS was honored as the "Top 50 Best Listed Companies" by Forbes Vietnam for 12 consecutive years

On August 22, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, Forbes Vietnam organized the 2024 Business Forum with the theme "Anticipating Trends." The event stood out with the ceremony to honor the "Top 50 Best Listed Companies in Vietnam in 2024," marking the 12th time Forbes Vietnam has awarded certificates to outstanding businesses. PetroVietnam Gas (PV GAS) is proud to be one of the few companies that have maintained this title for the past 12 years.

The Business Forum 2024 gathers experts and senior leaders from top companies to discuss the prospects of business recovery after the fluctuations in the past two years. In the first part of the event, experts shared their views and identified opportunities for businesses and the Vietnamese economy in the context of new technological waves, especially after Vietnam established comprehensive strategic partnerships with many large economies. According to experts, despite temporary difficulties, in the long term, the Vietnamese economy is still considered a bright spot attracting international investment, playing an important role in the global production and trade chain.

Part two of the Business Forum is the ceremony to award commemorative medals to the outstanding businesses in the list of the top 50 best listed companies in 2024 as voted by Forbes Vietnam.

According to Forbes Vietnam, the list of the 50 best listed companies for the 12th time reflects the recovery of profits in many sectors, although the spread has not been uniform. When profits have not returned to a stable growth trajectory, the VN-Index fluctuates strongly according to the psychology and cash flow of individual investors, while the exchange rate becomes an important factor in the stock market.

In this list, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group has 5 honored units, including: PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS, stock code: GAS), PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC, stock code: PVS), PVI Insurance Corporation (stock code: PVI), PetroVietnam Transport Corporation (PVTrans, stock code: PVT), and PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power, stock code: POW).

This event not only reaffirms the position of PV GAS and companies in the oil and gas, steel pipe, and renewable energy industries, but also provides motivation for sustainable development in the future.
