On June 29, 2022 at Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Park, Kieng Phuoc commune, Go Cong Dong district, Tien Giang province, Petrovietnam Steel Pipe Joint Stock Company (PVPIPE) successfully organized the 2022 annual meeting of the General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM).
Attending the meeting were Mr. Do Dong Nguyen, Mr. Truong Hong Son and Mr. Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Ngoc - Member of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Gas Corporation - Joint Stock Company; Mr. Huynh Quang Hai – Deputy General Director of Vietnam Gas Corporation – Joint Stock Company. On PVPIPE's side, there was Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company; Mr. Tran Dang Thuyet - Member of the Board of Directors, Director of the Company; You are members of the Board of Directors, Representatives of PV GAS' capital at PVPIPE, Controllers, Board of Directors, Heads of Departments / Factories.
According to the Production and Business Results Report, in 2021 PV PIPE was heavily affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. During the year, PV PIPE supplied pipes to the Thi Vai LNG project with a volume of 1,082 tons and signed a contract to process and produce pipes for the project. SHWE 1,363 tons, however due to the epidemic, this project was delayed. Total production output in 2021 is 1,8223.92 tons of steel pipes, revenue of 34.66 billion VND; reaching 63% of the plan.
In the first six months of 2022, PV PIPE has completed steel pipe production for SHWE 3 Projects with a volume of about 1,300 tons, Gallaf 3 Project with a volume of 600 tons for customers PTSC M&C and other structural steel pipe orders. In the first 6 months of the year, PV PIPE completed 97% of the planned output. In addition, PV PIPE promotes product promotion in domestic and foreign markets and is building a plan to expand the product range to expand the market of structural pipes, water pipes, pile pipes and wind power... to meet market demand.
Speaking at the Meeting, Mr. Huynh Quang Hai - Deputy General Director of the Corporation on behalf of the Leaders of Vietnam Gas Corporation - JSC encouraged and shared with the difficulties of production and business activities of the Corporation. PVPIPE was affected by the Covid-19 epidemic situation in 2021. To complete the 2022 production and business plan as stated by the Company in the report; The Deputy General Director requested PVPIPE to consider researching the possibility of expanding the product range to meet market demand for base structural pipes, wind power structural pipes, water pipes, etc. while waiting for major projects to be implemented; At the same time, providing solutions on human resource management, cost management, etc. to win bids for projects in the Oil and Gas industry such as Block B - O Mon...
Also at the Congress, shareholders approved the dismissal of Mr. Tran Dang Thuyet from the position of Member of the Board of Directors and the dismissal of Ms. Dang Thi Hong Yen from the position of Controller.
