On August 2, 2024, Petrovietnam Steel Pipe Joint Stock Company (PV PIPE) successfully organized a written consultation with the General Meeting of Shareholders on the dismissal and election of additional members of the Board of Directors (BOD). The meeting had the participation of 07 shareholder representatives, representing 03 shareholders holding a total of 183,850,000 shares, equivalent to 100% of the company's charter capital.
PV PIPE shareholders approved the removal of Nguyen Anh Tuan from the Board of Directors following his assignment to new duties by Vietnam Gas Corporation – Joint Stock Company (PV GAS).
With 99.997% of votes in favor from attending shareholders, Mr. Mai Xuan Ba was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of PV PIPE. On the same day, the Company's Board of Directors held a meeting and passed Resolution No. 88/NQ-HĐQT on electing Mr. Nguyen Cong Luan, Member of the Board of Directors, to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of PV PIPE replacing Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Luan, born in 1980, is a Bachelor of Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. He has more than 20 years of experience working at PV GAS in the finance and accounting industry and is currently holding the position of Deputy General Director of PV GAS.
