Right on the 28th anniversary of its establishment (September 20, 1990 - September 20, 2018), Vietnam Gas Corporation - PV GAS organized the PV GAS Festival to celebrate a new life in the midst of a beautiful autumn, with many memorable anniversaries of the nation and the Oil and Gas industry.
Also on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, the Trade Union Executive Committee in coordination with the Youth Union and PV GAS Veterans Association decided to organize "PV GAS Festival" with the goal of turning the Corporation's Founding Day into a meeting and exchange to strengthen solidarity, cooperation, and promote PV GAS Corporate Culture, not ostentatious but practical, taking care of spiritual life, and exercising health for workers in collective activities. be cheerful and practice thrift, ensuring that the production labor cycle continues normally and effectively.
Tug of war competition
PV GAS Festival takes place at "The Common Roof of Love" 101 Le Loi - Vung Tau - PV GAS headquarters in PR-VT. Right from early morning, hundreds of athletes from 15 units of PV GAS (each unit has 15 athletes with at least 5 female athletes) and hundreds of enthusiastic fans gathered to attend the opening ceremony of the Festival. Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Corporation's Veterans Association, gave the opening speech: "In the development process, PV GAS considers people as the key factor. We are determined to build and develop "PETROVIETNAM GAS" into a prestigious, quality and popular brand; promoting corporate culture and community development of a leading corporation in the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group.
PV GAS Festival is a demonstration of PV GAS's strength, demonstrating the decades of PV GAS implementing an extensive sports movement with many exciting activities, many types of sports, arts, and competitions; Actively organize, participate and win awards at many sports conferences, competitions, and tournaments at grassroots and industry levels. With the spirit: "Determination, determination to win, solidarity and confidence", PV GAS Festival recognizes new achievements for the young - healthy - dynamic - determined workforce of the Corporation."
Comrade Nguyen Thanh Nghi and Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of the Corporation's Trade Union, presented flowers and congratulated the teams attending the PV GAS Festival. Immediately after that, 15 teams immediately entered exciting group competitions such as: tug of war, shuttlecock throwing, sack jumping, catching eels in jars, rope jumping, slow bicycle racing, etc. Besides, there were also flower arranging competitions and fashion shows. Each competition is competitive, each achievement contributes to affirming the spirit of determination and victory of all PV GAS employees.

As a small summary of the movement to train and care for the lives of workers in all units, PV GAS Festival is filled with laughter and joint efforts. The competition recognizes the constant efforts of each unit, making the competition always at a thrilling peak, the results are not much different and victory is almost only known at the end.
Jumping sack competition
Under the bright sunshine of Vung Tau, the competition requires perseverance and skill in very different physical sports. At the same time, team spirit, strategic calculation of match organization, and ingenuity of each member also create results for each team. There are only two fairly familiar competitions: tug of war and slow bicycle competition. As for shuttlecock throwing, eel catching, flower arranging for men, national fashion competition to congratulate PV GAS, all are new, difficult and very challenging. In particular, the synthesis of different sports in a team of 15 people (at least 5 women) is also a difficult "problem", where strength must be skillfully combined with the requirements of will and life experience. 3 teams: CNG Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Petroleum Pipe Coating Joint Stock Company, Southern Gas Trading Joint Stock Company competed outstandingly with quite uniform achievements and constant efforts in all subjects. However, other units also chased non-stop, in turn "threatening" the positions of the top 3 ranked teams in each type. We must mention the names of teams that also tried very hard such as: Gas Services Company (ranked 1st in flower arranging, 3rd in slow bicycle), TCT Executive Agency (1st in fashion competition, 3rd in flower arranging); Vung Tau Gas Processing Company, Southeast Gas Transportation Company, Southeast Division and Ca Mau Gas Company all had 2 subjects winning prizes...

There are special marks that make the Festival joyful, vibrant and successful, which are the careful organization stages, creating color and atmosphere for the meeting day; These are the referee, organization, and medical forces who work diligently and fairly; That is the cordiality and sharing of joy of all 15 teams, not letting any "dark spots" happen that spoil the joy of the reunion.
On the same evening, PV GAS Festival ended with a meeting to celebrate birthdays and awards in the space "Countryside and Fresh Green".
