Recently, the PV PIPE Youth Union representing the Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) Youth Union accompanied the doctors and nurses of the City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. Ho Chi Minh City, Tien Giang Provincial General Hospital and Agribank - Ly Thuong Kiet Branch organized a medical examination program, provided medicine, donated medical equipment and awarded scholarships to poor studious students in Go Cong Dong district, Tien Giang Province.
The most important highlight of the program is the event of doctors and nurses at the City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. Ho Chi Minh examined 500 poor and disadvantaged patients in 3 communes of Tang Hoa, Tan Thanh, Tan Dien and prescribed free medicine. At the same time, the Companion Group also gave each person a gift including: sugar, milk and some necessities.
The total cost for medical examination and treatment activities, providing medicine, donating medical equipment, giving gifts to poor households, households in difficult circumstances and awarding scholarships to poor studious students is over 450 million VND supported by participating units.
The program aims to help and partially share medical examination and treatment costs for families in difficult circumstances in Go Cong Dong district, Tien Giang province. This is also a meaningful community program sponsored by Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. Ho Chi Minh City has coordinated with many units, including PV GAS, to implement it effectively for many years, in many difficult areas throughout the country.
