On November 29, 2023, Petrovietnam Steel Pipe Joint Stock Company (PV PIPE) organized the 2023 Employees’ Conference to summarize production and business activities in 2023 and implement the 2024 operating plan.
Attending and directing the Conference, on the leadership side of Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) were Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Ngoc - Member of the Board of Directors (BOD); Mr. Do Dong Nguyen - Member of the Board of Directors, Mr. Truong Hong Son - Member of the Board of Directors; Mr. Huynh Quang Hai - Deputy General Director; President of the Trade Union; and representatives of leaders of specialized departments, affiliated units and members of PV GAS.
On PV PIPE's side, the conference executive delegation includes: Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Hong Hai - Director, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Trade Union; and more than 60 delegates representing 162 employees and workers (employees) of PV PIPE.
Presenting the report on production and business results at the conference, Mr. Le Hong Hai said that in 2023, the company has exceeded the planned targets, creating jobs, ensuring income and welfare for PV PIPE employees.
Specifically, with the attention and direction of the company's leaders and the efforts of the staff and employees, PVPIPE has implemented solutions to upgrade production lines, invest in more machinery and equipment, expand the product range, and seek markets inside and outside the industry.
PV PIPE continues to maintain an effective quality management system according to ISO 9001, API Q1, API 5L, API 2B and 3834-2 certificates. The company has implemented important projects in the fields of manufacturing rig base pipes, offshore wind power, steel structures and pressure tanks, ensuring jobs for 2023 and creating a foundation for development in the following years.
Besides, PV PIPE also undertakes mechanical processing of structural pipes, expanding sales markets through domestic and foreign sales agents, joint ventures, and cooperation with many partners to enhance sales, business, and trade to increase revenue...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Huynh Quang Hai - Deputy General Director of PV GAS acknowledged and congratulated the results achieved by PV PIPE staff and employees in 2023, especially in the context of slow implementation of projects in the industry. Company leaders have made efforts to find new directions: expanding and developing new product ranges; Search for opportunities and projects to create jobs for employees.
Sharing about the picture of the steel pipe market and the challenges in the coming time, Deputy General Director Huynh Quang Hai emphasized: "The Board of Directors and staff and employees of PV PIPE need to continue to make efforts, be proactive, and further promote the spirit of innovation and creativity to complete newly assigned tasks. The company needs to prepare human resources, machinery and equipment lines ready to prepare for the implementation of the Block B - O Mon project. This is a particularly important project not only of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group but also a key national energy project."
