The Group's member units honored at the ceremony include: PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC), Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Vietsovpetro, Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas), PetroVietnam Drilling and Drilling Services Corporation (PV Drilling), Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical One Member Limited Liability Company (BSR), PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo) and Vietnam Oil Corporation (PV Oil).
In recent years, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group in general and its member units in particular, in addition to performing well in production and business tasks, have also focused on social security work, especially focusing on gratitude, supporting the poor, sponsoring projects, upgrading infrastructure as well as helping people in localities across the country. This is an action that not only shows responsibility for the community, continues the nation's tradition of "good leaves cover torn leaves", but also demonstrates the awareness and traditional culture of oil and gas workers.
This year's program "Enterprises well implement social security and community development responsibilities" is the third time it is held on the occasion of summarizing 15 years of the campaign for the poor launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. (2000-2015). Following the success of the two previous organizations in 2013 and 2014, this year's program is organized with the theme: "Enterprises for the poor". There were 50 businesses honored at this ceremony. The program aims to propagate and raise awareness of the business community about the implementation of social security responsibilities of businesses such as: implementing the responsibility to comply with legal regulations, implementing responsibilities towards employees, the environment, the community and social protection objects.
In addition, being honored at the ceremony also contributes to promoting and propagating examples of advanced businesses in organizing effective and innovative social security programs. create and have practical benefits for the community, increase awareness of domestic and foreign distributors and consumers for branded products that perform well on social security, and at the same time increase prestige, pride and attractiveness for the Vietnamese business environment, contributing to promoting exports, encouraging tourism and attracting foreign investment.
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen The Phuong, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Bui The Duc and Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Thanh Hai presented the program's logo, honoring businesses that performed well on social security and community responsibility in 2015. Also at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Dinh Huy, Deputy Chief of PV Gas Office, representing businesses pledged to continue to perform well on social security and community responsibility in 2015.
