On November 29, 2023, PetroVietnam Steel Pipe Joint Stock Company (PV PIPE) held the 2023 Labor Conference to summarize the production and business activities in 2023 and implement the operational plan for 2024.
Attending and directing the conference, towards the leadership of PV GAS, there are Ms. Võ Thị Thanh Ngọc - Member of the Board of Directors (BOD); Mr. Đỗ Đông Nguyên - BOD Member, Mr. Trương Hồng Sơn - BOD Member; Mr. Huỳnh Quang Hải - Deputy General Director; Trade Union Chairman; along with representatives of the leadership of specialized departments, affiliated units, and members of PV GAS.
Regarding PV PIPE, the board of directors of the conference includes: Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Hong Hai - CEO, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Chairman of the Trade Union; and more than 60 delegates representing 162 officials, employees, and workers (staff) of PV PIPE.
Presenting the business results report at the conference, Mr. Le Hong Hai stated that in 2023, the company exceeded the planned targets, creating jobs, ensuring income and welfare for the employees of PV PIPE.
Specifically, with the attention and guidance of the company's leadership and the efforts of all employees, PVPIPE has implemented solutions to upgrade the production line, invested in additional machinery and equipment, expanded its product range, and explored markets within and outside the industry.
PV PIPE continues to maintain an effective quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001, API Q1, API 5L, API 2B standards, and certification 3834-2. The company has successfully implemented important projects in the field of manufacturing base pipe for drilling rigs, offshore wind power, steel structures, and pressure vessels, ensuring employment for 2023 and laying the groundwork for development in the following years.
In addition, PV PIPE also undertakes mechanical processing of structural pipes, expands sales market through sales agents within and outside the country, forms joint ventures, collaborates with many partners to enhance sales, business, and trade activities to increase revenue...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Huynh Quang Hai - Deputy General Director of PV GAS acknowledged and congratulated the achievements of the collective of employees of PV PIPE in 2023, especially in the context of delayed projects in the industry. The company's leadership has made efforts to find a new direction: expanding and developing new product lines; seeking opportunities, projects to create employment for employees.
Sharing about the steel pipe market picture and challenges in the coming time, Deputy General Director Huynh Quang Hai emphasized: "The collective leadership and employees of PV PIPE need to continue to make efforts, be proactive, and further promote the spirit of innovation and creativity to complete new tasks assigned. The company needs to prepare human resources, machinery and equipment lines ready to prepare for the implementation of Project Lot B - O Mon. This is a particularly important project not only of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group but also a national key project in energy."
On behalf of all employees of PV PIPE, Mr. Le Hong Hai expressed gratitude and embraced the implementation of the leadership directives of PV GAS.
