Dai Hung oil field is located in Block 05 in the central part of the Nam Con Son basin, 265km from Vung Tau City. The field was discovered in 1988. This is an oil field in deep water with complex geology. Dai Hung went through many difficult times with the presence and departure of many international oil and gas operators and operators. In 2003, this oil field was assigned to the domestic Petroleum Exploration and Production Company (PVEP POC) to operate and exploit. The field's oil output is about 2.6 - 2.8 million barrels\/year. The project affirms Vietnam's will and internal strength in conquering offshore oil fields. In 2022, Dai Hung field will continue to be developed in the third phase with the expectation of reaching a peak of 9,000 barrels\/day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
