Project Nam Con Son 2 Phase 1 (NCS2-GD1) is a project to build a gas pipeline system Nam Con Son 2, with a length of about 151 km, transporting gas from offshore gas fields in the Nam Con Son basin to the shore at the Dinh Co Gas Processing Plant (Ba Ria - Vung Tau). The gas pipeline section is laid underwater at a depth of 30 to 50 meters. PV PIPE is the unit supplying gas pipelines for the project.
The project is invested by the Petrovietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation - PV Gas and the joint venture contractor PTSC M&C (Vietnam) - Leighton (Australia) with a total value of about 800 million USD with a transportation capacity of 5 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
